Hi, could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Strange and loud mixture made of coffee, cigarettes and photography. It goes by Helena, sometimes Kenzo, always hyperactive and childish.

I'm from Serbia, will stay here for a will. Pure breed, seven years in photography, four  years in modeling - though my priority is psychology and cooking. It's hard to pick only one flavor, right? : )

What makeup and clothing do you use on shoot? Is it your own?
When I work on my own it is 100% my make up and clothes. Otherwise, working with agencies and advertising products it's professional make up artist and fashion designer.

Do you have any other equipment that you couldn’t do without?
I'm a hardcore fan of jewelry and small details. When working, I like to have a bit of something here and there added - it doesn't change much but adds a lot.

What lighting techniques do you favour?
Natural light in early morning is my favorite. I like to work in early hours outside, studio light calls for dark, gloomy days.

What are your favourite things about Pinup & Glamour?
Freedom to express self, creativity and emotion in one shot. Pin up is sexy yet classy, perfect combination if you ask me.  : )

What’s the most impressive place that you’ve been photographed?
Hmm, hard to choose. My favorite places are dark, dirty ruins, basements, something that stands out from my styling. Sandy beaches is another thing I love, not many in Serbia to choose from though.

Who are your favourite photographers?
Oh, that’s easy. I’m a huge fan of Jaime Ibarra’s photography. I have yet to meet him and hopefully work, for now I just admire.

What (or who?) is your biggest inspiration?
Reading. Listening. Watching. My ideas come from starring and thinking what can be done with certain objects, people, ideas... then I do my best to combine that. And there we go!

What do you think is the most important thing to keep in mind when photographing Pinup & Glamour?
Keep it classy. Pinup & Glamour should have some mystery and mind teasing, but also elegance and creativity in it.

What advice would you give to someone looking to start in Pinup & Glamour Photography ? Modelling, or to get the best from the Genre?

It’s important to look around a lot. See what’s going on in this world of glamour and pinup before taking another step. Don’t believe in limits, use whatever you can and have fun!
