Do you reply to your DD notes?
In a word- no.
I read every SINGLE one, but no I do not reply to them. And it’s for the following reasons-
I (and most other CVs will do this) plan my DDs in advance. I don’t want to tell someone that I am using their suggestion but they can’t say anything, seems a bit unfair 
I keep all suggestions and often return to them. If I don’t feature it there and then I may well at a later date. If I don’t use the suggestion for whatever reason, I do not wish to dis-hearten people that their suggestion was below par, because that just isn’t what that is about. 
What do you look for in DD Suggestions
The deviant must not have had a DD within the last 6 months. Also if they have about 5 or 6 DDs I am more inclined to feature someone else - this is definately the case if they have had a DD from me before. Please send me a NOTE with ONE thumb and, if you can, a short explanation of why you think it should be featured. While I'm not against featuring a "popular" deviant/deviation, please use your discretion. If something has 4,000 favourites does it need a DD? If you wish to suggest something with a very high number of favourites, make sure it's a truly exceptional piece of art
I will not feature the same model or photographer over and over again - variety is the spice of life
Can I suggest my own work?
Absolutely, I encourage it I'd also prefer it if you also provided me with a reason as to why. 
What if I do not like the DDs you feature?
For the love of GOD - do NOT kick off on their deviation. I have no patience for people who bitch and whine on other people’s work. It’s just so damn disrespectful. Note me. I am more than happy to hear why you dislike the image. Please realise that each CV features a DD every day. So every gallery is featured. So “OMG MOAR TITS ON THE FRONT PAGE!!” - Probably. ^Nyx-Valentine looks after Art Nude & Fetish and I look after Pinup & Glam so the human body features heavily in our Galleries. If this offends you then you might want to avoid our features and have a goose at Trad Art, Artisan Crafts, Digital etc.

My answer to those protesting policies has always been "if you don't like the way I'm doing it, do it yourself!!"
Everyone has the ability to feature work, and to suggest DD's. Support the community! Just because I don't feature something doesn't mean you can't. And I can't feature it if you don't suggest it

You featured an image I suggested, does this mean you will feature all my subsequent suggestions
No. Whilst I appreciate people are passionate about supporting art and helping people get noticed, I will not assist you with any personal campaign to further other people's career. They have their own PR methods for that. Do not send me demands for DD's. I do not respond well to that kind of thing.

I might be wrong, but I thought I'd read in other GM's faqa that it was PER CATEGORY, so if (for instance) I'd had one in horror I'd still be eligible for Glam?
