I am very happy to have this article be the 20th "anniversary" of the series

I enjoy every article as it shows so wonderfully the wide range of wonderful and amazing art you can find on dA. Every category has gems and can leave you in awe.
Remember: Never stop looking beyond your horizon

Or maybe just spin around, stop randomly and enjoy whatever is there

I always loved and will always love the diversity you can find on dA. So so many amazing artists have found a home on this site and it is a shame that most of us, me included, don't go "out" often enough to find those talented people, who are just a gallery away from us

Celebrating Diversity #13In this issue of Celebrating Diversity, I would like to remind you of an amazing feeling...when you see a piece of art created in a medium or genre that you have little or no experience of working in, and it feels like you're witnessing something magical, something beyond your comprehension.
It's wonderful to revel in the joy of How do they do that? and find inspiration in the creations of other artists. So I challenge you to take a step outside of the galleries that you regularly browse and immerse yourself in the experience of indulging in something new.

How do you celebrate diversity?

Do you regularly browse, comment on and collect art that's wildly different from what you create?

Do you watch artists who use mediums that you don't use in your own

This week I spied an awesome topic in *Fuzzypiggy's journal and knew instantly that it was what I would talk about for edition twenty eight. "Underground train system bosses are set to ban all photos under new proposals that have angered photographers.." The Pulitzer Prize Winning Photos were announced this week and with it a debate was sparked about how best to display the controversial winners. The winning shot is Photo-journalism at it's best - and indeed humanity at its worst. The image depicts a young Afghan girl standing in the midst of the after effects of a bomb explosion. She is covered in blood, and around her lay bodies. Whilst the publication of graphic images has been a tough and much debated topic for some time - the very taking of such photos has sparked cynicism and unrest between many.
