DistortedSmile and pullingcandy  are proud to join together the Galleries they Moderate - Pinup & Glam and Horror & Macabre in a Contest to explore and challenge the art and creativity the various genres bring.


Hollywood has a history of sinister glam.
The beautiful people always seem to be up to something dangerous and deadly.
Your inspiration should be style icons such as Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Audrey Hepburn, Elvis, Frank Sinatra- and then make them a bit more twisted.
Can be celebrity or your own creation of character, can be villain or victim, can be dark without being gore, can be sensual without being naked.

Submissions will be closed on July 31, 2010 at 11:59 PST.

All Entries must be exclusive original work made for this contest, cannot have been submitted before June 23, 2010 and must not have been previously published or won any other prize/award.

One entry per person

Online entries only, hard copies will not be accepted.

Must be relevant to theme, but can be your own interpretation

Needs to state in description "For dA's Hollywood Carnival Contest"
