Almost all of us on deviantART want to know how we are doing. We also know that to get any element of an answer, we have to put a lot of work in ourselves. It all sounds very exhausting, doesn't it?
We would like to openly discuss solutions the community can enact from within. This isn't just "what can the CVs do", but what can YOU do too. We don't want to waste good effort on the wrong things and moreso, we want to try to encourage more of you to get involved as individuals.

Inspiration is, for me, a funny thing. I get inspired more by an emotion or feeling than an actual thought or expression; a lot of my work is created from facts and concepts, but the seed of it always stems from an emotion.
I have a collection of favourites of work which I've found on deviantART which inspires me because their visual evokes a feeling which sparks inspiration in me and drives me to create. The CR Stamp Project

Stamps are a great way to show your support for a project, a person or a group of people, spread awareness for a cause or promote a contest. It is also valid to do them just for fun, with just a funny image and/or message.
Since their introduction to the deviantArt galleries, millions of stamps have been created with a great variety of messages, both silly and serious, and you can see them all over the place, from journals to profile widgets.
The Community Relations department exists to encourage, facilitate and develop the relationship with our deviantART community. Our goal is to nurture our community by encouraging, stimulating artists to create, collaborate, and participate in a friendly, safe, and supportive artistic environment.

CR Photography: How it WorksHello!

A lot of you have asked questions about how the group works, especially with our Gallery. So, here's a handy blog to guide and give you all the information and useful links you need.
You can always pop to our front page and read the Important Information box with all of our shenanigans too!
Submitting Your Photographs
We know how frustrating it is to wait days and days for somebody to approve your art for the gallery. And even more frustrating if you wait all that time and then find you've popped it in the wrong place or it's declined without a reason.
We've found a way round all of that!
Instead of submitting directly to each Photography Category within our Gallery, we have a folder each month in our Favourites. You arCR Photography: How it Works by ^Kaz-D

To honour the creation of #CRPhotography, we are hosting our first official contest - with a fantastic bunch of prizes donated by #communityrelations and various groups! PE: Poetry Forms Week!Hello everyone and welcome to Poetry Form’s week on #projecteducate! This is the first of what we hope are several PE weeks for literature this year, broken down into delightful chunks instead of one big week!
We’ve started with poetry forms because we’d like to take the opportunity to look at individual poetry forms and help educate what these forms are truly about. Amongst the miscats of the literature gallery, the forms are often struck quite badly and a little education may help with that situation.
So what exactly do we mean by poetry form?
A poetry form is the set of rules that a style of poem may follow in its creation. This can include syllables, meter, rhyme schemes, themes and layout. Each individual form could have several rules applied to it.

I want to state now that these are preferences, not hard fast rules and every CV has their own. The only hard fast rules are that resources must be credited and no one can receive more than one DD within 6 months.

Redesign a character contest!If there's something we love about fan art is how artists take artistic liberties and portray characters in their own style and different scenarios we wouldn't see otherwise. Some people will say that fan art is unoriginal, but from experience there's a lot of creativity involved when it comes to depicting your favourite characters in a different light, deviating from the way they were designed by their creators.
